VIRTUAL TOWN HALL MEETING

THURSDAY, JULY 9, 2020 l 8:30 PM EST

Don’t miss this important discussion on upcoming legislation to reform policing in our communities. There will be an introduction of specific bills that have passed through Congress and those that are still pending a final vote.

MODERATOR: CHRIS V. REY, JD
International 1st Vice President

In the months following the tragic murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Rayshard Brooks, as a result of police misconduct, waves of protests and civil unrest have gripped the nation. Citizens are demanding accountability of police departments and policy reform. As A Brotherhood of Conscious Men Actively Serving our Communities, we must do our part to facilitate discussions and educate our people. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., in collaboration with the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), will host REAL REFORM: People, Policies and Policing, on July 9, 2020, at 8:30 PM EST.

REAL REFORM is a panel discussion intended to educate and empower Sigma men to effect sustainable changes in policies and policing practices in the Black community. Brothers will learn about current and upcoming police reform legislation and engage with panelists during a question and answer section.

Space for this national virtual town hall meeting is limited and can only be accessed through Blu Print! Please log into Blu Print to register. If you have any questions, please contact Bro. Dantavious Swift, Director of Programs, programs@phibetasigma1914.org.
